Our friendly office staff will explain the services we offer, answer any questions you have, complete the paperwork, collect any applicable bury fees and get your information to our construction team.

Engineering

Our Engineers will determine the best route to bury the fiber to your home. You may see them in your yard taking measurements and notes. If you have any private electrical, gas or water lines buried in your yard, let the engineers know so they don’t get damaged.

Main Line Construction

You will see colored flags marking existing public utilities such as electric, gas and telephone lines and white flags marking the new fiber route. The construction crew will be busy burying the main fiber in road right of way. They use multiple pieces of heavy equipment so drive cautiously in the construction areas.

Drops to Houses

You will see additional flags going across your yard to your house. The construction crew will use smaller and lighter equipment to bury the individual fiber drop to your house. The repair crew will repair any damage to your yard and spread new grass seed. They are usually several weeks behind the bury crew.

Splicing

You will see trucks with enclosed trailers parked along your road. This is our splicing crew. They will connect the ends of the new fiber together so the internet signal can get to you. They will also test the lines to make sure the connections are good.

Installation

As soon as the splicing crew has connected and tested the new fiber to your house, we will call to schedule the date and time for your installation. One of our professional and knowledgeable technicians will come to your home to get your internet working and answer any questions you have.

Keeping you in the know

Fiber internet is a type of broadband internet service that uses fiber optic cables to transmit data at high speeds. It’s faster than traditional copper wires and other technologies like cable, satellite, and DSL.

What are the benefits of Fiber? More bandwidth to support all your needs, provides faster, more reliable speeds, more cost-efficient, and it’s more secure than other types of internet connections.

By burying our fiber lines underground rather than mounting them on poles, we ensure superior protection from severe weather and significantly reduce the risk of service disruptions due to storms, high winds, or falling trees.
